A weekly comedy night that quietly became one of the most reliable things to do in Marin. Mix of seasoned comedians and newer voices trying out material. Smaller room means better seats matter. 🎶 Holly Bowling (Solo Piano) at Sweetwater (Mill Valley) 🗓️ Tuesday, April 28 | 8:00 pm 📍 Sweetwater Music Hall 🎟️ Tickets $43.76 This is not background piano. Holly Bowling takes jam band music and turns it into something intricate and almost hypnotic on a single piano. Quiet room. People actually listening. 👉 Pro tip Sit close if you want to watch her hands. That is half the show. 🎶 Karla Bonoff at Sweetwater (Mill Valley) 🗓️ Thursday, April 30 | 8:00 pm 📍 Sweetwater Music Hall 🎟️ Tickets $58.20 A more classic songwriter night. Karla Bonoff has been behind a lot of songs people recognize even if they do not realize it. Older crowd, but in a good way. People are there for the music. 👉 Pro tip Great one if you want a more relaxed night out without a loud crowd. 🎸 Tazmanian Devils at Rancho Nicasio (Nicasio) 🗓️ Friday, May 1 | 7:30 pm 📍 Rancho Nicasio 🎟️ Tickets $30 High energy rock in one of the most Marin venues you can find. Bay Area rockers The TAZMANIAN DEVILS originated in Marin County, California, and erupted on the Bay Area club scene back in the late 1970s. 👉 Pro tip Make a night of it. Dinner plus music is the move here. 🎻 Broken Compass Bluegrass at Rancho Nicasio (Nicasio) 🗓️ Sunday, May 3 | 5:00 pm 📍 Rancho Nicasio 🎟️ Tickets $30 Broken Compass Bluegrass is leading the way in the contemporary bluegrass revival, combining tradition with innovation in a way that appeals to both longtime fans and new listeners alike. Modern bluegrass that still feels rooted. Easy Sunday plan where you can sit back, eat, and listen without feeling rushed. 👉 Pro tip Sit outside if the weather is good.
